The story of Hadad Bros.

Hadad Brothers Exclusive Silverware of Bnai Brak, Israeli Handmade silverware specialists are today an international, multi milllion dollar silversmithing and Judaica business, that has grown from two workers to a staff of over 100, producing over 8000 beautifully handcrafted, uniquely designed individual masterpieces of silver - the largest selection of silver products in the world. Haim Hadad is the general manager and Hagziel Hadad the expert in ecclesiastical ware. The product lines include silver Kiddush Goblets, Candelabras (candle holders pillar), Shabbat candlesticks and intraday candle holders, silver Menorahs, Jewish Prayers, coin charity collection boxes (Tzedakah boxes), Havdalah sets, Jewish Seder Plates, Mezzuzahs, Butter Dishes Salt and Pepper, Wine and Whisky Decanters, Silver Plated Serving Trays, Judaica stained glass, Salt Dishes, Wine Fountains, Challah plates, Candelabrums, service trays, Jewish art and Jewish gifts, sterling silver Decantors and more.

Yet, the brothers retain the same principles and goals that have guided them from their humble start almost 40 years ago. They still work 12 hours a day alongside the finest silver craftsmen from Israel and still dream to combine their knowledge, skills and love for art to produce the most exquisite Judaic silver articles in the world and to help even the poorest Jewish families adorn their homes with silver candlesticks for Shabbot and a Hanukah menorah.

Thus the family had an history of three generations of silversmiths with an international reputation for excellence, the brothers story began in Tripoli, Libya. The brothers are the sons of Rabbi Shalom Hadad, the prominent artisan, Rabbi and leader of the Jewish community, where wealthy Arabs would stand in line to order Hadad silver vessels. When their father the master smith, died suddenly at the age of 56, they were only 8 years young children and suddenly became responsible to support themselves.
Their first step in the silversmithing world was when they began by crafting silver for a merchant in Tel Aviv, each brother specializing in a different silver craft skill.

Lots of water flew in the Jordan river since, they mastered the creation of Judaica in the classic traditional style, combining ancient and new silversmithing techniques, focusing on their goals, success was quick to follow.
In 1992 they built an 8-story building containing workshops, warehouses, offices and a 500sq meter showroom in the city of Bnei-Brak, Israel.
Since opening, the company can barely keep up with the constantly increasing demand for its products.
